We all heard about rose water, blueberry, orange blossom, or used them.<\/p>\n

To mention them only! These floral waters are part of the family of hydrolats and are sweeter than\u00a0Essential Oils. They do not require the same precautions and can be used orally as a herbal tea at\u00a0a rate of one teaspoon in a glass of water, as a spray on a mucous membrane (buccal wall,\u00a0throat) or by dermal routes (face, body, hair). In cosmetics, they serve as a cleansing and toning\u00a0lotion for the face and as scented water to refresh the body. But what do we really know about\u00a0them? How can we use them and enjoy their health benefits?<\/p>\n

To answer this question, Jean-Philippe Zahalka introduces us to 70 hydrolats and floral waters,\u00a0very required and used for 100 common pathologies.\u00a0In addition to his advice and formulas, he also teaches us what are hydrolate and floral water, how are\u00a0they obtained, what are their properties and shows us different possible uses. Each hydrolate has\u00a0similar (sometimes different) virtues with the corresponding Essential Oil, but its use is much\u00a0softer and is particularly suitable for fragile and sensitive mucosa, as well as for children.<\/p>\n
